The Board of Directors’ of Avillion Berhad (“AVILLION” or “the Company”) hereby announces that the Company  had on 24 August 2020 submitted to Bursa Securities Malaysia Berhad ("Bursa Securities") an application for an extension of time ("EOT Application") to submit its Annual Report 2020 that includes the annual Audited Financial Statement for the financial year ended 31 March 2020, together with the Auditors' and Directors Report. 

The Covid-19 pandemic outbreak has proven to be challenging for the Company in respect of completing the audit in a timely manner for its subsidiaires in Singapore namely Vacation Singapore DMC Pte. Ltd. and Reliance Travel Agencies (S) Pte. Ltd. ("Singapore subsidiaries"). The Company's auditors for its Singapore subsidiaries, CS TAN & CO, has indicated that they will only be able to complete the said audit by 7 September 2020.

The Company is awaiting a response on the said EOT Application and shall proceed to make further announcement upon receiving a decision from Bursa Securities.
